Ebm-Papst have now set new standards in terms of reliability, service life and energy consumption with its advanced generation of fans, “i-maxx”. This has resulted in a new versatile fan with high efficiency and the ability to be used worldwide. The i-maxx fan ACi 4400 is based on an electronically commutated drive which has an up to 77 % lower consumption than classic standard AC fans. As the entire electronics are fully into the motor, the ACi 4400 is very compact (119 x 119 x 3mm). Because the dimensions are identical, the existing AC fans can be exchanged as desired with the new fan.
With its operating voltage range from 85 to 132 (115 VAC version) respectively 195 to 265 VAC (230 VAC version), the fan is suitable for all worldwide power supply networks. Depending on the version or application requirements, speed variants, self-monitoring, alarm outputs etc. can be implemented easily.
The impeller has been flow-optimised along with the housing. And the result is impressive: lower power consumption and a significantly reduced operating noise level. In continuous operation, payback periods after only 3 months are possible. A special moisture protective coating in protection class up to IPX 4 is available.
The i-maxx fan ACi 4400 sets standards for fans that can be used universally. In addition to improved output with lower consumption, new materials with lower weight and the fast installation provides additional savings. The lower logistics costs, thanks to the wide-range power supply and long service life make it much more economical for systems manufacturers and end customers to use the new fan. Literally and metaphorically, they are a fresh breeze in refrigeration and air-conditioning applications.
