With its ACT20M Weidmüller offers users the choice of a one or two-channel passive isolator with a six millimetre design. Passive isolators guarantee electrical isolation in signal circuits - without an additional power supply. The passive isolator is either input loop powered (ILP) or output loop powered (OLP). This makes it possible to electrically isolate both channels in a module design width of just 6 mm.
This represents the simplest, most space-saving and cost effective method of isolation to protect connected devices, and also improves the quality of the signals. High process reliability is assured on the one hand by the electrical isolation of 2.5 kV (300 V rated voltage) and on the other by the high measuring accuracy of up to 0.1 percent and the wide temperature range of -25 °C to +75 °C. The limiting frequency of the ACT20M passive isolator is 100 Hz. It is allocated to surge voltage category II.
The passive isolator is powered either via the input (input loop powered, ILP) or the output (output loop powered, OLP). To protect the connected devices and improve signal quality this is the simplest, most space-saving and cost effective form of isolation.other story of the company This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
